How are the Products Packaged?

Gift Cups or Gift Bags

You can choose between clear plastic cups or cellophane bags donned with a Carla Hall Petite Cookies sticker and tied with natural raffia.  The cups and gift bags contain a single variety of our petite cookies, sweet or savory, each contain a little about 6 ounces of cookies. You can choose your favorite cookie.

Small Gift Box

The small gift boxes feature a sampling of our sweet or savory flavors – perfect for a first-time purchase or a small tasty gift. Unfortunately, you don’t get to choose here.  The Savory Collection includes 3-ounce cups with two savory varieties and our harissa spiced nuts.  The Sweet Collection includes three varieties of cookies in 3-ounce cups.

Large Gift Box

The large gift box includes a sampling of five of our Sweet Collection flavors, including a flavor exclusive to the gift box — Lemon Black Pepper Shortbread. Each variety comes in a 3-ounce cup. The large Sweet Collection box is a perfect for a first-time purchase or as a gift.

Large Orders

If you would like to place an order for a large number of 6-ounce gift bags or cups, the 3-cup small or 6-cup large gift boxes, please contact us so that we can handle your order properly and arrange shipping.

Specialty Gift Boxes

The perfect gift for that special someone or a corporate gift. Available upon request.  The cookies are $36 per pound, with a 4 pound minimum. We will personally select a gift box, based on your needs, at an additional charge.

What is the shelf life of the cookies?

We say, conservatively, that the petite cookies will stay fresh for one week in the gift bags. They stay fresh at least two weeks in the tins. To extend the shelf life of your cookies, you can freeze them.

Attention: Nut Allergy Warning

Alchemy by Carla Hall products are made in an environment where nuts are used and handled. For that reason, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are 100% nut free. Even if nuts are not on the list of ingredients, there still may be a trace of nuts or nut oils in the product.

Why do some cookies cost more than others?

Our premium cookies (Black Forest Crinkle and Hawaiian Wedding) cost more than others because they contain more expensive ingredients, such as dried cherries, cherry liqueur and macadamia nuts.  We use a premium gluten free flour by Caputo for our gluten free varieties (Pecan Shortbread with Vanilla Salt (GF), Oatmeal with White Chocolate and Dried Cranberries (GF) and Hawaiian Wedding (GF)), which costs nearly five times as much as our organic flour.

Is my order taxed?

If your order is shipped to an address in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, it will be subject to sales tax. You will be asked for the destination zip code at checkout on PayPal, and the applicable tax will be added to your order.

Is my information (credit card/email/address) safe?

Yes! We take the security of your personal information very seriously. Your contact information (email, address and phone number) is not shared or sold to anyone.

We’ve also taken several steps to ensure that all transaction information received from our online visitors is secure from unauthorized access and use. All transactions are completed on a secure, encrypted server. When you check out, you will notice the URL changes from “http” to “https” indicating you’ve moved to an encrypted, secure page. Depending on your browser, you may also see a closed padlock. Further, no credit card information is stored in our website or accessible through our website, nor is that information stored in our databases.

How are Orders Shipped?

At this time, USPS is our only shipping carrier.

Our standard shipping option is 2-3 day Priority Mail. You may also opt for Express Mail overnight shipping. Currently, we do not ship internationally.

The quoted shipping price in the cart includes a $1.95 charge for packaging.

Return Policy

We do not accept returns, because the products are perishable.

Is there an Alchemy by Carla Hall store?
